Make the Switch

We’ve heard the excuses . . . “I have direct deposit” or “I just don’t have the time” or “It’s where I had my first account”.  Truth be told, moving to Williamstown Bank can be done in a few simple steps, with Rewards!

Step 1

Open your Williamstown Bank Kasasa checking account
Click on Open Account from any page on our website to enroll in the account of your choice.  Should you have any questions, you can speak with one of our representatives by calling 304-375-6262 or 304-485-1717, or visit one of our offices and we will help select the best account for you.  Don’t forget to as us about Debit Cards, Online Banking, and our Mobile App.

Step 2

Change automatic deposits and payments
Below are forms that can be used to change direct deposits and automatic payments.  Complete, print and provide to merchant.

Step 3

Close your old bank account

Wait a month or two to be sure all outstanding items have cleared and your automatic payments and direct deposits are successfully presented to your new Williamstown Bank account.  You may use the Account Close Out Authorization form and bring to either of our offices and we’ll mail it for you.
