Checking Account Products
We provide our customers with a wide variety of checking accounts so you can find the type that best fits your needs.  If you want a simple, no frills account, then ask about our Free Checking, or maybe you are interested in our 60 Checking, which is an non-service charge account for our customers over 60.  We also have a Limited Account that will incur no monthly service fees if you keep a minimum average balance of $50 and you write less than 15 checks a month.  Along with the above types, we also have Vision Checking that allows you to pay a small monthly fee, but entitles you to free stop payments, money orders, and other bank services.  There is also the Regular Checking, Student Checking, Preferred, and if you are interested in earning interest on your deposit accounts that keep a balance over $1,000.00, ask about our Super Now and Hi-Fi Money Market Accounts.  When opening a new deposit account, please have a valid photo ID and a second form of identification with you.  All new checking accounts are verified through Check Systems.  Back to Top
 
Savings Accounts
A Savings Account allows you to put money away that will earn interest, but gives you the option to make up to six free withdrawals a month. You can choose from a basic Savings Account or a Trustee Account if you have a child for whom you would like to save money.  We also offer Christmas Club Savings accounts that allow you to have a pre-determined amount automatically drafted on a weekly basis to help you save money for all your holiday shopping.  Please have a valid photo ID and a second form of identification when opening an account.  All new savings accounts are verified through Check Systems. Back to top
 
Certificates of Deposit
If you are looking for a way to make your money work for you, then ask about our full line of Certificates of Deposits.  We have many rate and term options from which to choose.  When your CD matures, you can let it automatically renew for the same term and current rate without any paperwork.  You may take up to two partial withdrawals, with a penalty, over the term of the CD.  Please have a valid photo ID with you when opening a CD.  Back to top
 
Individual Retirement Accounts
Make a secure future for yourself by opening an Individual Retirement Account.  We offer both Traditional and Roth IRAs, so you can choose the option that best suites you.  A Traditional IRA allows you to make your contribution tax deferred until you start receiving withdrawals.  A Roth IRA includes your contribution as part of your taxable income for the current tax year, allowing you to earn interest tax free for the life of the IRA.  You can go with a fixed rate or variable rate term for your IRA.  You will need a valid photo ID to open an IRA.  Back to top
 
Free Online Banking and Billpay
Now you can view your account and pay bills from your home computer for free!  Go to our Login and click Apply Now to sign up for this feature, and within 24 hours someone from the bank will call to verify your information.  We will then activate your online status, and you can go in to view activity on your current statement and set up your bill pay.  You can transfer money between accounts, make loan payments, and track your activity without leaving home.  Sign up today to take advantage of this product!  Back to top
 
Consumer Loans
Are you looking to buy a new car or maybe you just need a little cash for a repair or emergency expense?  Stop in and talk to one of our loan officers about our wide variety of consumer loans.  We offer competitive rates and terms on new and used vehicles, motorcycles, campers, boats, and other titled vehicles.  Qualified customers can also obtain personal loans or a personal line of credit.  The personal credit line is a revolving loan that allows you a predetermined limit that you are billed on once a month.  You are allowed to use whatever undisbursed money you have available.  It is a perfect way to handle any unforeseen expense, and when the balance is paid you can leave it open for future use.  Back to top 
 
Real Estate/Home Equity Loans
Williamstown Bank has a mortgage department to meet your housing needs.  We provide in-house mortgage financing, as well as construction, land only, and financing for mobile homes.  If you are a first-time homebuyer, we work with West Virginia Housing Development Fund to provide you with options such as closing cost and down payment assistance to make purchasing your first home a positive experience.  If you currently have a mortgage or need some money for home improvement, ask about our home equity loans.   These loans allow you to use the current equity in your home to consolidate bills, pay for college, take that dream vacation, or do some renovations to your current home.  The only fee you pay for the home equity loan is the loan fee, all appraisals and flood determinations are covered by the bank.  Back to top

Electronic Statement Retrieval
Be sure to sign up to receive your checking statement and images electronically.  Each month you will receive an email notification saying your statement is ready for retrieval.  You can use the login on the site homepage to retrieve your statement.  With Identity Theft on the rise, this is an excellent way to protect your statement from being stolen out of your mailbox or falling into the wrong hands.  You can retrieve your statement for up to 60 days after the statement has been issued.  If you are interested in this feature, please call one of our offices to get signed up.  Back to top
 

Direct Line Banking
You can now have a "direct line" to your accounts with our free Direct Line Banking.  Once you call our toll free number (1-800-200-3458) and activate your PIN - a number selected by you and known only by you - you can check your balances, transfer money between accounts, make loan payments, verify deposits, and find out what has come through your account.  Call one of our offices today to sign up!  Back to top

Visa Debit/ATM Cards
If you are one who doesn't prefer to carry cash or a checkbook, then be sure to get a Visa Debit Card you can use anywhere that accepts Visa Debit Cards.  You also can use your card to get money from an ATM.  If you have a Savings Account or a Free Checking Account, then you can get an ATM only card.  After you complete the application, you will receive your card in seven to ten business days.  Should your Visa Debit Card get lost or stolen, please contact either office as soon as possible. If it is after regular business hours, please call (800) 264-4274 to get your card restricted.      Back to top
 
Visa TravelMoney Cards
A safer and easier alternative to Traveler's Checks, these prepaid cards can be used worldwide anywhere that accepts Visa Debit cards.  The reloadable cards can have a value between $250.00-$9,999.00, and since they are prepaid, there is no danger of overspending.  Local currency can be accessed through worldwide Visa ATMs.  If your card is lost or stolen, or if you forget your PIN, you can call 1-888-713-3424 for 24 hour customer service and emergency assistance.  You can get additional TravelMoney Cards that access the same funds for safekeeping or for someone else to use, and there is zero liability for the cardholder.  Back to top
 
Automated Teller Machines

Cashier's Checks/Money Orders
We have Cashier's Checks and Money Orders available for a fee of $3 for customers and $6 for non-customers.  Cashier's Checks and Money Orders are a convenient way to purchase items or pay your bills without having to carry around large amounts of cash.  While Money Orders may be done through the drive thrus, Cashier's Checks can only be issued in the lobby during business hours.  Back to top
 
Wire Transfers
If you are a Williamstown Bank customer, then we can wire money to another financial institution for a fee.  In order for us to complete the wire, you need to bring with you the name, physical address, and routing number of the financial institution that will be receiving the wire.  You also will need the Beneficiary's name, physical address, and the account number to which the money is to be credited.  All wire information must be given in person.  Back to top
 
Safe Deposit Boxes
We provide fireproof Safe Deposit Boxes for you to keep your valuables secure.  You will be billed once a year for your rental, and will be given two keys to the box.  There will be a fee for lost keys or if the box has to be drilled.  Please have a valid photo ID with you when opening a Safe Deposit Box.  Please see below the box sizes and rental fees.  Back to top

Account Balancing and Assistance
We will be happy to assist you with any questions regarding your Williamstown Bank accounts.  We can help you learn how to balance and keep track of your activity and can retrieve needed images or other information for you.  Account research can be done for a fee.  Extensive research, such as statements from past years, may take a few days to complete, so call and request the needed information several days before you need it.  Back to top
